Oxidative Stress Assay

 

 

Oxidative stress는 활성 산소종(Reactive Oxygen Species, ROS) 및 활성 질소종(Reactive Nitrogen Species, RNS)의 생성과 신체가 이러한 활성 중간체를 해독하는 능력 간의 불균형을 반영합니다.

 

Nitric oxide synthases (NOS) 는 질산화 질소(NO) 를 생성하는 효소 그룹입니다. NO는 혈관 신생(angiogenesis), 연동운동(peristalsis), 병원체에 대한 면역 반응과 같은 다양한 세포 과정의 조절에 관여하는 중요한 분자입니다. Reactive Nitrogen Species (RNS) 는 NO와 superoxide에서 파생된 항미생물 분자 그룹으로, nitric oxide synthase (NOS) 의 효소적 활동에 의해 생성됩니다.

 

Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) 는 산소 대사의 정상적인 부산물이자 세포 신호 전달에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. 그러나 산화 스트레스 관련 상태에서는 ROS의 수치가 급격히 증가할 수 있습니다. ROS가 축적되면 세포 구조에 심각한 손상을 초래할 수 있습니다.
