예를 들어, aCella Tox 는 세포 독성(cell cytotoxicity) 을 측정하는 시험법입니다. GAPDH 는 해당작용(glycolysis) 과 당신합성(gluconeogenesis) 경로에서 중요한 효소입니다. 이 호모테트라머 효소는 D-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate 의 산화적 인산화 반응을 촉매하여 1,3-diphosphoglycerate 을 생성합니다. aCella-TOX reaction scheme 에서 GAPDH 의 방출은 3-Phosphoglyceric Phosphokinase (PGK) 효소의 활동과 결합되어 ATP를 생성합니다.
