Synthetic Peptides 

Peptides are short chains of amino acids linked by covalent chemical bonds named “peptide bond”. 

Peptide bonds are formed by the linkage between the carboxyl group of one amino acid and the amino group of another. Peptides are the basic of protein. Proteins usually consist of long chain, folded peptides which forms a three-dimensional structure. Similar to protein, peptides can also have multiple biochemical functions such as catalysis, blocking, immunization and signal transduction. Peptides can be synthesized by chemical methods with varies of length.
