UltraPure MALDI Matrices

ProteoChem produces ultrapure matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) matrix products. 1.  CHCA

α-Cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA) is a commonly used MALDI mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) matrix with a λmax at 337 nm and 355 nm. CHCA matrix is a good first choice for MALDI-MS to use with proteins and peptides less than 10 kDa. Dissolve right in the plastic tube to get your saturated CHCA matrix solution!

2.  DHB

2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHB) is a commonly used MALDI mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) matrix with λmax at 337 nm and 355 nm. DHB is a good MALDI matrix for general MALDI-MS of protein digests, carbohydrates, oligosacharides, glycopeptides and both proteins and peptides below 10 kDa. This matrix is also well suited for the negative ion MALDI-MS glycolipids.

3.  Sinapinic Acid

Sinapinic Acid (Sinapic Acid; SA) is a commonly used MALDI mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) matrix with a λmax at 337 nm and 355 nm. Sinapinic acid is an ideal choice for large peptides or proteins with molecular weights larger than 10 kDa. Dissolve right in the plastic tube to get your saturated matrix solution!

4.  HABA

2-(4'-Hydroxybenzeneazo)benzoic acid (HABA) can be used as a MALDI mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) matrix and has a strong absorbance at 337 nm. HABA is recommended for use to analyze oligosacharides or intact proteins.

5.  THAP

2',4',6'-Trihydroxyacetophenone monohydrate (THAP) is specialized MALDI matrix used for the MALDI mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) of glycoproteins or RNA. THAP matrix is also useful in providing complimentary peptide mapping data, when used in alongside a standard MALDI matrix, CHCA or DHB. THAP matrix is also well suited for the negative ion MALDI-MS glycolipids. Dissolve right in the plastic tube to get your saturated matrix solution!
