1.  Liposomal Magnesium 

 

Liposomal magnesium is used to delivery of magnesium ions across the cell membranes. 

Magnesium acetate is encapsulated in liposomes composed of 1,2-dipalmitoylsn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DPPC) and cholesterol in a mass ratio of 1.9:1 at total lipid concentration of 10 mg/ml. The magnesium concentration in the liposome is 150 mM. The magnesium encapsulation percentage is more than 99 %. The average size of liposomes is about 80 nm with poly dispersity index (dpi) of 0.1.

The calcium concentration in the liposome is 150 mM. The calcium encapsulation percentage is more than 99 %.
