Cas9 is the nuclease component of the CRISPR/Cas9 system
• Supplied at 10 µg/µl in a glycerol stock solution to avoid freeze/thaw
related degradation
• Protein format is more efficient than plasmid or RNA-based systems
• 2 Nuclear localization signals (NLS) for increased nuclear transport and
efficiency
