Radon Cocktail
The extraction of radon from water relies on the fact that radon is more soluble in organic solvents than in water.
To achieve complete partition of Radon from the aqueous phase into the organic phase it is essential that
a lipophilic (non-emulsifying) LSC cocktail is used.
Pro-Scint Rn/AB which is based on pseudocumene with a high Flash-Point aromatic solvent.
This cocktail is lipophilic and forms completely separate phases when mixed with water samples.
